Defendants including Dileep destroy evidence on phone: Prosecution Dileep case

Kochi: The accused in the case of conspiracy to kill the investigating officers in the case of attacking the actress, including actor Dileep, have destroyed the digital evidence in the prosecution high court. The court was told that the evidence on the mobile phones was completely destroyed.

Scientific examination revealed that the evidence on the phone had been destroyed. The evidence was destroyed on January 30 following the court ordered the phones to be produced. The government informed the court while considering Dileep’s plea to cancel the probe.

The prosecution told the court that the examination of some digital evidence was yet to be completed. The court said further investigation had already been going on for two months. The court directed to inform how much more time is required.
