After the Referendum last weekend, the country has entered a new stage in which the defense of sovereignty in Essequibo is exercised with greater force and Guyana Esequiba is properly spoken of as a new state in the country.

Essential aspects such as the beginning of the Public Consultation of the Organic Law for the Defense of Guayana Esequiba, dissemination of the new map of Venezuela and the arrest warrant against several opposition leaders for international conspiracy on the Referendum, mark this last stage of the year .

Another essential aspect is that the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, announced that the ministerial resolutions were formalized through which the authorities that will be in charge of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI) Guayana Esequiba and the three commanders of the Areas are designated. of Comprehensive Development of this territory.

“We have carried out a political exercise with a capital P, for Homeland; a generous exercise of love for Venezuela. Today, Venezuelans unite, above differences, around political alternatives for our country. One voice: Essequibo is ours,” said Maduro.

A public consultation in the AN
In the last few hours, the Public Consultation of the Organic Law for the Defense of Guayana Esequiba began at the Federal Legislative Palace, in Caracas.

Deputies to the National Assembly (AN) and members of different sectors of the country such as popular power, students, state authorities, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), among others, participate.

This week the AN unanimously approved, in first discussion and with regulatory urgency, the Organic Law Project for the Defense of Guayana Esequiba, which “guarantees the sovereignty and territorial integrity over Essequibo,” as stated.

The first vice president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, pointed out that the instrument “establishes a set of means and mechanisms aimed at the defense of Essequibo, currently usurped by the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.”

“With that greatness and with that value that the people of Venezuela have transferred to us, we will go to conquer the victory of the recovery of our Essequibo territory,” stated the president of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez.

For boycotting the Referendum
The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, revealed that as part of an investigation that the Public Ministry (MP) had open into an international conspiracy against Venezuela, a plot was detected that, through a financial operator, was intended to boycott the consultation last Sunday.

“All of them will be charged with the crimes of treason, conspiracy, money laundering and criminal association,” he stressed.

Delcy Rodriguez responds to Irfaan
The executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, warned the president of Guyana, Irfaan Alí, that “he has no other option than direct negotiation in accordance with the Geneva Agreement” after his statements against Venezuela.

He recalled that the Guyanese government is a “de facto occupier of our Essequibo” and that the Essequibo Referendum represents a new beginning for Venezuela.

Maduro and a map that defines the path to the future
After the holding of the Consultative Referendum for the defense of Essequibo, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, convened a Federal Government Council and the National Security Council. At the meeting he announced nine strategic actions to execute the decisions approved by the Venezuelan people.

The High Commission for the Defense of Guayana Esequiba was created, a body that was coordinated by the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez. The debate was activated in the National Assembly of the Organic Law for the Defense of Guayana Esequiba, with its subsequent approval. The Comprehensive Defense Zone of Guayana Esequiba was also created and progress was made in the Single Authority of Guayana Esequiba with political-administrative headquarters in Tumeremo.

In addition, Maduro specified that Petróleos de Venezuela and the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana were authorized to create the Petróleos de Venezuela Essequibo and CVG Essequibo divisions.
