Dentphoto Survey: 40.2% of Dentists Rank Osstem Implant Top for Service

Osstem Implant secured the top position in three key after-sales service categories—response speed, problem-solving ability, and overall satisfaction—according to a survey of 1,000 dentists conducted by the online dental community Dentphoto.

Regional Teams Maintain Dental Equipment on Site

  • Operational Continuity: Dental practices rely on uninterrupted equipment function; service response times directly dictate whether patient procedures proceed on schedule.
  • Service Infrastructure: Dedicated regional teams handle installation, maintenance, and clinical training directly on site rather than routing fixes through remote centers.
  • Practitioner Feedback: The survey aggregates real-world experiences from both single-practice owners and employed dentists across urban and rural clinics.

Dentphoto Survey Methodology and Respondent Demographics

The survey evaluated 11 domestic and foreign dental equipment companies, including an open “other” category, capturing insights from a broad cross-section of clinical environments. Out of 1,000 responding members on Dentphoto—South Korea’s largest online platform for dental practitioners—877 operated their own practices while 123 were employed clinicians. Participants ranged in age from under 30 to over 61, spanning metropolitan hubs as well as regional towns and rural townships.

When asked which company’s service personnel arrived fastest following an equipment malfunction report, 44.4 percent of respondents named Osstem Implant. The second- and third-ranked competitors garnered 9.7 percent and 8.7 percent, respectively. On-site technical competence followed a similar trajectory, with 39.2 percent stating that Osstem Implant staff performed best at resolving faults during their visit, compared to 12.1 percent and 8.0 percent for the runner-up brands.

Osstem Implant Leads in Service Satisfaction

Overall satisfaction metrics reflected the same performance gap among surveyed equipment providers. A total of 40.2 percent of dentists reported being most satisfied with Osstem Implant’s service ecosystem, while secondary and tertiary competitors drew 9.8 percent and 8.7 percent. Company representatives noted that because dental instruments operate continuously throughout active patient treatment, sudden mechanical failures compromise clinical workflows and patient schedules.

To mitigate downtime, Osstem Implant deploys dedicated regional service teams stationed nationwide. These units provide localized installation support, technical training for clinic staff, and scheduled maintenance routines designed to prevent unexpected hardware failures during surgical and restorative procedures.

Market Implications for Dental Clinic Operations

The findings show that post-purchase support influences equipment selection as much as core mechanical performance.
