The project is invested by Hanoi Passenger Car Joint Stock Company and implemented in Hue City and surrounding areas. The project aims to serve the sightseeing needs of domestic and international tourists, aiming to increase the attractiveness and develop the tourism industry of Thua Thien Hue province.
The project is implemented in the form of 100% socialization, the state does not subsidize passenger ticket prices for tourist attractions in Hue City and surrounding areas.

The service route for transporting tourists by open-top bus in Thua Thien Hue province includes 2 routes.
Route H1: Toa Kham Marina – Le Loi – Truong Tien Bridge – Tran Hung Dao – Dong Ba Market – Tran Hung Dao – Cua Ngan – Ong Ich Khiem – Doan Thi Diem – Dang Thai Than – Le Huan – Ong Ich Khiem Street – Nguyen Trai (Door House) – Le Duan – Kim Long – Nguyen Phuc Nguyen – Thien Mu Pagoda – Nguyen Phuc Nguyen – Kim Long – Da Vien Bridge – Bui Thi Xuan – Dien Bien Phu – Le Ngo Cat – Princess Huyen Tran ( Perfume Village) – Doan Nhu Hai (Tu Duc mausoleum) – Doan Nhu Hai – Princess Huyen Tran – Le Ngo Cat – Minh Mang – National Highway 49 – Khai Dinh (Thien An hill and Khai Dinh mausoleum) – Khai Dinh – National Highway 49 – Minh Mang – Ngu Binh (Nam Giao Dan) – Phan Boi Chau – Le Loi (Hue National School) – Toa Kham Marina. Route H2: Toa Kham Marina – Le Loi – Truong Tien bridge – Tran Hung Dao – Dong Ba market – Tran Hung Dao – Cua Ngan – Ong Ich Khiem – Doan Thi Diem – Dang Thai Than – Le Huan – Ong Ich Khiem Street – Nguyen Trai (Nha Do Door) – Le Duan – Da Vien Bridge – Bui Thi Xuan – Ga Bridge – Le Loi – Hanoi – Ben Nghe – Doi Cung – Toa Kham Marina. The length of this route is 10 km in circle.
Operating frequency is regarding 30-60 minutes/trip, summer operating hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., winter hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. In addition, the unit serves tourists under contract, extending passenger service hours for holidays, New Year and special event days.
The number of vehicles put into operation ranges from 3 to 5 100% new single-deck buses with open roofs. In the first phase, 3 vehicles will be used, each vehicle can accommodate 24 passengers, including 20 seats and 4 standing seats.
Regarding the ticket price plan, the investor develops a detailed ticket price plan according to market principles and declares the ticket price according to regulations.
From August 2022, Vietnam – Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company (Vietnamtoursims Hanoi) will organize a pilot open-roof 2-deck bus service under the City Sightseeing Hue brand to serve tourists in Hue. However, adverse weather conditions in Hue have made implementing this service difficult.
