“Depression’s Impact Grows Stronger, to Last Until Thursday Evening”

The Meteorological Authority in Lebanon’s Estimates Department predicted that the depression over Turkey would intensify in Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, causing heavy rain, temperature drops, and snowfall on the mountains. The effect would last until Thursday evening when it would gradually fade.

On average, the temperature in April ranges from 15 0 to 24 0 Celsius.

According to the forecast, Thursday would be mostly cloudy with thick fog on the hills, and there would be sporadic rain, sometimes heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. Snowfall would occur above 1,400 meters, and it would gradually decrease in intensity as the afternoon approaches with a slight rise in temperature. The weather would stabilize from the evening, and layers of ice would form in the mountainous regions above 1,700 meters.

Friday will be cloudy with high clouds, and there will be a gradual and tangible rise in temperatures that will remain below the seasonal average on the coast.

On Saturday, there will be a few clouds with high clouds, and temperatures will rise further, returning to the seasonal average. The winds will be active at times, and there will be layers of dust.

Sunday will remain partly cloudy with temperatures exceeding the seasonal average, and layers of dust may appear in the air.

The Estimates Department of the Meteorological Authority in Lebanon expected in the evening weather bulletin that the impact of the depression centered over Turkey would intensify on Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, as rain intensifies, temperatures drop, snow falls on the mountains, and its effect continues until tomorrow evening, Thursday, when it gradually recedes.

The average temperature for the month of April is from 15 0 to 24 0 Celsius.
