Deputy commander of “Azov” called the conditions for the withdrawal of the military from “Azovstal”

The Ukrainian media reported on the conditions handed over by the commanders of the Ukrainian regiment “Azov” (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) for the exit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the territory of the Mariupol plant “Azovstal”.

The words of the deputy commander of the regiment Svyatoslav Palamar are quoted. According to publications, the military does not agree to surrender, but is ready to leave this position and evacuate, including with the assistance of third countries.

The second condition is the preservation of personal weapons by the military. The third is the opportunity to pick up the bodies of the dead.

Also, referring to Palamar, it is reported that Ukrainian negotiators Mikhail Podolyak and David Arakhamia are ready to come to Mariupol if their Russian colleagues Vladimir Medinsky and Leonid Slutsky arrive there to discuss the withdrawal of the garrison and civilians from Azovstal.

The deputy regiment commander also stated that the civilians remaining in this industrial zone have not yet come out, as they are afraid of shelling and do not trust the declared silence regime. Earlier on Wednesday, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that on the territory of Azovstal there are about a thousand civilians.
