Despite Kremlin involvement: Schwesig steals responsibility so cheaply politics

Remarkable appearance by Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (48, SPD) on Sunday evening in the “heute-journal” (ZDF).

In the interview, the politician appeared with all sorts of demands as to how the Germans should now be relieved, even posing as a kind of pipeline expert. As for their own role in leading Germany into massive dependence on Putin’s Russian gas – not a word. She even sees her MV state government as a role model in Germany.

Of all things Schwesig!

Background: For years, the MV state chief relied entirely on Russian gas, playing a key role in the further construction of Putin’s extortion pipeline Nord Stream 2. A dramatic wrong turn for Germany. Schwesig is largely to blame for the fact that we are now stuck in the Kremlin gas trap.

And the moderator didn’t address that of all things …

Instead, moderator Anne Gellinek (60) mainly asked the politician about further relief in the energy crisis, which was coming too slowly. A steep template for the SPD left!

In addition to the extreme additional gas costs, we taxpayers should now pay for all kinds of energy subsidies, if the Prime Minister has her way…

► “It is important that this answer comes quickly,” says Schwesig. She lists that the planned energy money does not reach pensioners, students and the self-employed. “We expect that it will be extended to precisely these groups of people, because there are currently many older people who have to cope with a small pension, and they also have to be supported, for example.”

Lamb-pious request from Gellinek: “That’s exactly the criticism that the previous package is not socially balanced, so how can you change this imbalance?”

Schwesig calmly demands: Pay energy money to people with low incomes, i.e. pensioners, students, solo self-employed, a continuation of the nine-euro ticket …

All measures that would not be discussed at all without the fatal energy policy that they were driving with great force.

“Not a radical left idea”

When Gellinek asked about the effect of a gas levy without such relief, the SPD politician really turned up the heat, saying: “Our state government called for the gas cap back in March.” She points to a model in which citizens use 80 percent of the average consumption at a fixed price, the rest should be paid for by the state with a cap.

plain text: The taxpayers should pay here too. And the companies. Schwesig, who governs in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with the Left Party: “Well, we clearly support the excess profit tax. This is also not a radical left-wing idea, as some people think, but it is a question of tax justice.”

With socialist-looking cover ideas against scarcity? Not a word about their own responsibility for making Germany dependent on Russia.

Background: The “MV Foundation for Climate and Environmental Protection”, initiated by the Meck-Pomm government under Schwesig at the beginning of 2021, had set up an “economical business operation” for the purpose of being able to buy more Russian gas, so that the Nord Stream 2 Baltic Sea pipeline could be built more quickly can start operations. Means: warmonger and gas blackmailer Vladimir Putin (69) would get his way….

The alleged main goal according to the statute should be nature and climate protection. But the real main purpose was to protect domestic companies from US sanctions against the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

To put it plainly: With millions in payments from Gazprom, the foundation pushed ahead with the completion of the pipeline. A Fake Kremlin Foundation.

Gazprom subsidiary “Nord Stream 2 AG” (head of the board of directors: ex-chancellor and Putin buddy Gerhard Schröder, 78) fed Schwesig’s fake project with a whopping million amounts, almost 200 million euros flowed according to “Welt am Sonntag” from February until November 2021.

Schwesig acts like an expert

The viewer in the “heute-journal” didn’t find out anything about that. Instead, moderator Gellinek asked about Wolfgang Kubicki’s (70, FDP) advance, who had called for Nord Stream 2 to be put into operation.

Grotesk: Gellinek is questioning Schwesig at this point like an independent energy expert, even saying: “You know a bit about pipelines, is that a good idea?” The federal government has given a clear answer and we now have to use the capacities.”

The politician even continued with a kind of self-praise, saying: “The Nord Stream infrastructure has created a large distribution infrastructure far beyond Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. From here we can supply the distribution infrastructure from eastern Germany to the Czech Republic, Bavaria and southern Germany. That also happens and there are capacities.”

Schwesig consistently ignored her own responsibility, preferring to pretend to be the faithful mother of the country who is fighting for “relief” on the front line…
