Huawei defies US sanctions. The Chinese telecoms group announced on Friday an increase in half-year turnover, for the first time since 2020. Over the period January-June, its turnover reached 310.9 billion yuan (39.2 billion euros), up 3.1% year-on-year. Huawei’s profit margin reaches 15%, according to the group.

A year earlier in the first half, the group’s sales were down (-5.9%), following already plunging over this period in 2021 (-29.4%), when the Covid-19 pandemic 19 strongly paralyzed activity and consumption in the world.
