Real Madrid fans supported and saluted Cristiano Ronaldo, the top scorer of their historic team, during the Royal match against Espanyol in the Spanish League.
This came in the seventh minute of the match, as the fans chanted the name of the Portuguese star in the first match to be held at the Santiago Bernabeu since the death of his son.
Ronaldo had published a statement a few days ago through his official account on the “Instagram” website, in which he announced the death of his newborn during the birth process.

Ronaldo wrote: “It is with great sadness that we must announce that our newborn child has left our world. This is the greatest pain a parent can feel.”
He added, “We feel devastated after that loss, and we kindly ask you for some privacy in these difficult times, as for you, my dear child and my angel, we will love you forever.”
Because of this crisis, Ronaldo missed the Manchester United match against Liverpool in the English Premier League, which ended in favor of the Reds with a clean four.
It is worth noting that Real Madrid had won the Spanish League title after beating Espanyol by four clean goals.
