Who said you can’t serve brigadeiro for dessert? Today there are gourmet versions that please even the most refined palates, after all, several popular restaurants serve brigadeiros with Belgian chocolate, hazelnut brigadeiros, pistachio brigadeiros, there is something for all tastes!

Dessert Brigadeiro

And I, inspired by the delicious “O Livro do Brigadeiro”, made my version which is not so “top of the line” but is a “was going“, Trust me!

My Brigadeiro Recipe

Ingredients

1 can of condensed milk
60g milk chocolate
2 tablespoons of powdered butter
1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Way of doing

Place all the ingredients in a pan and stir until it boils and comes away from the bottom of the pan, but pay attention and be careful because if you stop stirring, it can also jump on you and burn you.

Grease a plate with butter and transport the brigadeiro, then take it to the fridge and let it cool for two hours. To serve, roll balls of the size you prefer with your hands, then roll in chocolate shavings, crushed nuts or serve on tasting spoons.

Tips and suggestions for your dessert brigadeiro

  • Never use chocolate because it contains sugar and will be too sweet.
  • If possible, replace the margarine with butter (but do it anyway)
  • If you want a different flavor, try “salted” butter.
  • Add a small spoonful of instant coffee to the mixture at the beginning and you will have a “cappuccino brigadeiro” (then you come back here and thank me)
