From the picture, we can see that if there is a hole on the screen like that, there will be a lot of space on the top. More information can be displayed on the Status Bar.
The picture we have seen is probably the iPhone 13 that uses the background image as a screenshot that has been redesigned from a notch to a hole on the screen and takes a picture upside down. (Rotating from the bottom) makes us see the iPhone 14 Pro without a notch.

The iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max will still use the same notch design. This means that the new hole-in-screen design is only available on the Pro model.
