Leaving on April 14 from the European spaceport of Kourou (French Guiana), the Juice probe experienced its first setbacks. “Juice’s ice-penetrating RIME antenna has yet to be deployed as planned”indicates the European space agency (Esa), in a press release published this Friday, April 28. “During the first week of commissioning, a problem arose with the 16-meter radar for icy moon exploration, preventing it from detaching from its mounting bracket”it is specified.
