Australia beat India by six wickets in a thrilling ODI World Cup final at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Dhoni is vacationing with his family in his village in Uttarakhand. Dhoni was expected to make it to the World Cup, but it didn’t happen. Kapil and his team won the first World Cup for India in 1983. Dhoni brought India the first T20 World Cup in 2007 and then the ODI World Cup in 2011. The fans were disappointed that the former captains who gave such great achievements for India were not invited.
In the India-Australia ODI World Cup final held on November 19, Australia defeated India by 240 runs in 43 overs to win their sixth title.
