“Diablo Immortal” has announced its 2024 update plan. The main focus of this year is the “Age of Destruction” and the new demonic threat that invades Sanctuary. In future updates, adventurers will be able to play a new class that steps into the world of Diablo for the first time, harvest rewards in the second anniversary celebration, and face the Lord of Fear himself: Diablo in two main missions. The era of destruction will begin through the next major update “Fear of Desperation”, and hellish challenges will also follow!
The Dread Rift suddenly appeared in Sanctuary. The Dread Rift portal will be opened every day between 8 am and 2 pm, and between 6 pm and 1 am (server time), and will randomly appear in three areas every 20 minutes. Step into these portals, prepare to face brutal monsters, and find a way to obtain the Styx Shards. Collect these fragments and sacrifice them to the Styx Spire to summon the leader. Kill the boss to get rich rewards, including brand-new fear essence.
Use the Essence of Dread to take on the ultimate test of valor: the Pillars of Annihilation. The Pillar of Annihilation will appear near the Dread Fissure, and will only appear on Inferno I or higher difficulty. If you can survive the attack of specially enhanced monsters, you will have a chance to obtain eternal equipment and other rewards.
The Hellslayer bounty mission will be open to team players or solo players on Inferno I or higher difficulty. For one Dread Essence, you can combine 4 normal bounties into one Hellslayer Bounty on the Bounty Board. Completing bounties will earn you adventure guide progress and a reward chest with a chance to grant eternal gear.
Eternal equipment is a new type of equipment that has appeared. It is the rarest and most powerful equipment of Sanctuary. This equipment can only be dropped from the Dread Rift, Pillars of Annihilation, and Hellslayer bounties. Eternal equipment comes with 3 attributes and 4 magic affixes.
A series of 56 new affixes will be introduced soon. These affixes will appear on items containing 1-3 magic affixes, and these items will drop from Dread Rift, Pillar of Annihilation, and Hellslayer bounties.
