Not only Diablo IV is constantly being updated, Diablo Immortal is also being further considered by Blizzard Entertainment. You’ll get the next major update, “Splintered Souls,” in December.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced fresh supplies for Diablo Immortal, with another content update, “Shattered Souls,” coming before the Christmas holidays. This will be released next on December 14, 2023.

What can you expect from the next major patch? There are new familiars, another zone called “The South of the Realm of Dread”, a new quest line and an event. Finally, five new reliquary bosses are also included.

Familiars are loyal allies who provide individual bonuses and useful skills and accompany you in Sanctuary. At the start of “Shattered Souls” there will be eight familiars, five of which are in the new one Blog entry already described in more detail.

At the core of Diablo Immortal’s story lies the south of the Realm of Terror – the new zone. It became an apocalyptic wasteland following Tyrael destroyed the corrupted Worldstone. The zone’s main quest leads to the growing Gray Quarters camp, inside Steelquarry, and into the depths of teeming canyons created by the destruction of Mount Arreat.

The event in question is “Battle of the Guardians” – a defense-like zone event in which you have to protect the wilds of the Realm of Terror.
