Did not agree to the celebration by skipping work; Onasadya garbage protest – Onasadya | Protest

Thiruvananthapuram ∙ In protest of not being allowed to celebrate Onam by skipping work, Onam food was thrown in the garbage. A section of cleaning workers in Chala Circle of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation organized an outrageous protest. Manorama News got the footage of the prepared food being left in the aerobic bin.

The criticism is that this protest is full of insolence when many people are waiting for a meal. The ready-to-eat Onasadya was thrown into the aerobic bin for waste collection. Onam celebration was held yesterday at the circle offices of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.

The secretary suggested that it should be celebrated in a way that does not affect the office work. So when the workers tried to start the celebration in the morning, the health inspector suggested that following work is enough. This angered the employees.

After the cleaning work, a group of employees of the CITU leadership destroyed the food for regarding 30 people. The union’s justification is that it is a protest once morest the officials trying to stop the Onam celebrations.
