Various countries have opened their doors for nurses from India. Many countries have liberalized immigration rules, including prior experience. Wages and other benefits were increased. Australia stopped the bridge course for migrant nurses. Now all you have to do is pass the NCLEX RN exam. Countries like New Zealand and UK have reduced OET and IELTS scores. Japan, which had given preference to nurses from the Philippines, withdrew the provision. Those who know Japanese can get jobs.

Germany 2.5 lakh, Japan 1.4 lakh, Finland 15000, UK 50000, Australia 15000, New Zealand 10000, Ireland 5000 have been informed by the respective governments to the Centre. Nurses in Kerala are less interested in Gulf countries when European and Australian countries are providing opportunities for them to migrate. Saudi Arabia recently conducted recruitment for 2500 nurses. But only 250 people are eligible. More than 95 percent of the nurses who go abroad from India are from Kerala.

The Federal Employment Agency, the German Agency for International Cooperation and Norka Roots are conducting the Triple Win program to recruit nurses to Germany. German language training is also provided. Those who have qualified in the first batch have joined the job in Germany.

The recruitment fair will begin on the 21st as per the agreement signed by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan during his UK visit. Around fifteen hundred people like doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists, dieticians will get employment.
