The digital driver’s license has been activated more than 302,300 times as the first digitally storable ID card in Austria since last autumn. It is only available to people with a credit card driver’s license. According to the Ministry of Finance, more than a million people are already using ID Austria. It is also required for the digital driver’s license, the mobile phone signature is not sufficient.
