In Austria, school psychology estimates that there are one or two children in every class with reading or spelling difficulties. Including dyscalculia, autism or ADHD, according to Katharina Zaloudek, an expert in digital accessibility, even a quarter of students have learning disabilities of various degrees. With digital support, these children and young people might make much better use of their potential, but this is currently not being used enough.
