Disabled high school student beaten in the Oise: the custody of 4 teenagers extended

A 16-year-old high school student, suffering from an “apparent disability”, was attacked on Monday October 3 by a gang of teenagers from the same establishment in Saint-Maximin, in the Oise. This Friday, we learned that the custody of four teenagers had been extended.

An outburst of violence. This Monday, several students from the Donation Robert and Nelly de Rothschild high school, in Saint-Maximin (Oise), physically attacked one of their disabled comrades. After the opening of an investigation for “aggravated violence, four minors were arrested. They have been in custody since Thursday, October 6.

Surrounded, trapped by the fence behind him, the young boy had taken many punches and kicks before the attackers fled. The images of the attack, which was filmed, had been widely relayed on social networks and had caused certain political figures to react, scandalized by the scene.

This is the case of Marion Maréchal, who described these images as “unbearable”, also pointing the finger at the responsibility of the Minister of Education, Pap Ndiayein this attack.

It was not the first time that the teenager has been taken to task. According to our information, for almost a week, the latter had been beaten up on leaving his high school. “I’m waiting for this to stop, it’s not normal. It can’t last,” the victim’s grandfather testified on CNEWS.

A complaint had been filed for a series of assaults that occurred between Thursday September 29 and Monday October 3.
