If I hadn’t been an opponent of this unnecessary S-Link for a long time, then Klaus Klingler’s brilliant letter to the editor (August 8, 2023 in the SN local section) would have finally convinced me of it. In it he describes the disadvantages of this subway project in great detail and that it lacks any sense, except that the construction industry would be the big beneficiaries of it.
Of course, some politicians who have not yet shown very much would like to erect a memorial so that they are not forgotten just one day after their abdication. I hope that the proponents, of whom there are said to be quite a few, will read this letter to the editor and hang it in a frame over their bed.
