Climate activists protested in Venaria Reale, Turin, against the G7 Climate, Energy and Environment, which opens tomorrow morning at the Royal Palace, displaying the usual array of hatred. The procession arrived in Piazza Vittorio after blocking the Turin ring road for several minutes, suddenly diverting the route. “Those who block our future will find hundreds of blocks like this of people not willing to let them decide on their own heads”, is the slogan that the anti-climate activists have chanted through the megaphone. The police then returned the demonstrators to the agreed route.

The demonstration in Venaria Reale ended around 5pm. The activists have arranged to meet tomorrow evening at 7pm in front of Palazzo Nuovo, home of the humanities faculties, for a new protest action, while Ultima Generazione has announced an assembly to be held tomorrow morning at 10 in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Venaria.
