FAIRMONT W.Va (WDTV) – Meat is a favorite in West Virginia, and the North-Central part of the state is home to many great butchers that have been successful.
Hill Country Meats, located at 75 coons hollow road in Fairmont, has been open for 3 years, and they have seen customers order all types of meats, from beef to pork, and they told WDTV the people is what keeps them going.
“8:30 I wake up, customers start coming in. I really enjoyed customers talking with them. Selling them good meats that they are happy with, building relationships, and I enjoy my work very much,” said Leonard Martin, Owner of Hill Country Meats.
Hill Country Meats served customers with hundreds of meats last year, and they are all booked up on customer orders coming into this year.
