Choose the right time to refuel

The raison Is simple. At night, the temperatures are cool. Due to this, the stored fuel cools. However, when it is cold, it is denser. When you fill up, a liter of fuel is really equal to a liter of fuel.
Does this seem normal to you? Maybe, but that’s not always the case. Indeed, when the fuels are hotter, they are more volatile. They therefore tend to evaporate more quickly. You then refuel, of course, but with less fuel. Also, don’t go to the pump right after a tanker truck fills the pumps. Indeed, when the pumps are filled, the fuels mix with the encrusted dirt. This dirt then ends up in your car if you are the first served. Don’t panic, it’s safe for the vehicle. But you’ll get more dirt, and less gas. The price, on the other hand, will be the same.
Save fuel when starting your vehicle
Another trick is to start driving without accelerating. It only takes a few meters, of course you will have to speed up at some point. But not when you start your car. Walk a few meters before moving up a gear. Why ? Quite simply, because an engine running at full speed from the first seconds consumes more fuel. Therefore, and more generally, avoid accelerating or braking suddenly while driving. Because it makes you spend more fuel.
Likewise, it is advised check the condition of your tyres. At first, simply because it’s important to drive with tires in good condition, well inflated, and not damaged. Your safety is at stake. Besides the securityif the tires are worn or have a lower pressure, then they generate an overconsumption of fuel.
Finally, on the highway, driving at 110 km/h instead of 130 km/h allows you to make big savings. So if you’re in no rush and ready to lose some minutes, give it a try. You will realize very quickly that you surrender less to the borne.
The price of gasoline is historic…
We remember the anger of the yellow vests, who find themselves in the street to fight against rising prices. Especially fuel prices. At the time, the price per liter was 1 euro 50. It seems laughable now, when you know that many pumps exceed 2 euros per litre. But the yellow vests arrived before the covid-19 health crisis and before the major geopolitical crisis in Ukraine.
