Apple has released the first beta version of iOS 17.4 to authorized developers. It contains many changes and additions, including new emoticons. Screenshot shared by MacRumors.
What’s new
- Mushroom;
- Phoenix;
- Broken chain;
- Lyme;
- Horizontal shaking of the head (“no”);
- Vertical shaking of the head (as when nodding “yes”).
Some emoji may look familiar. You may have seen them online before when the Unicode Consortium revealed the landmark changes to the Emoji 15.1 set last year.
Emoji will appear on all iPhone devices following downloading the iOS 17.4 update. Will have to wait. The full launch of the update will take place in March 2024. The exact date is still unknown.
