His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the Football Association, and His Excellency Sheikh Salman Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation, discussed the reality of Asian football, and the programs and development plans undertaken by the Continental Federation with the aim of improving the game in all administrative, technical and organizational fields and club tournaments. And national teams, in coordination and effective communication with all member national federations.
This came during the meeting that took place in the capital, Abu Dhabi, where the President of the AFC renewed his congratulations to His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan on the occasion of his assumption of the presidency of the UAE Football Association, stressing the strengthening of communication and partnership with the UAE Federation, which is considered one of the most prominent federations supporting the projects of the Continental Federation.
The meeting also touched on the great successes achieved by Asian football at the level of competitions, hosting major world championships, and the high technical level of Asian championships, which have now received media and marketing attention and a large audience presence.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah Nasser Al-Junaibi, First Vice President of the Federation and President of the Professional League, Abdul Mohsen Fahd Al-Dosari, Member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association, Muhammad Abdullah Hazzam Al-Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the Federation, Dato Windsor John, Secretary-General of the Asian Confederation, and Wahid Kurdani, Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative Affairs of the Asian Confederation.
