Social distancing, which has been maintained for over two years, will completely disappear from next Monday.

It was decided that the Omicron fad has completely passed its peak.

However, we have decided to keep wearing an outdoor mask a little longer.

From next Monday, multi-use facilities such as restaurants and cafes will be open 24 hours a day.

The limit on the number of people who could gather up to 10 people will also disappear.

The government plans to hold a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters tomorrow morning to confirm these details and then make an official announcement.

In addition, the ‘Post Omicron Response System’, which contains the contents of routine quarantine and medical system, will also be released tomorrow.

However, we have decided to keep the mask as the current policy for the time being.

It is currently compulsory to wear a mask indoors, and should be worn outdoors when it is not possible to keep a distance of 2 meters from other people.

It’s practically compulsory to wear.

“There are people watching from the outside, it’s inconvenient to put on and take off, and everyone is wearing a mask for fear of causing a nuisance to others…”

We considered easing the distance and taking off the mask outdoors, but we decided to adjust the speed in consideration of concerns that it is still too early.

A government official said, “We agreed that there could be a problem in easing distance and wearing masks at the same time.”

First, we plan to remove the distance, observe the situation, and discuss the issue of wearing a mask again in two weeks.
