As the court explained yesterday, it is incomprehensible why the nurse, who is well integrated here, did not go to the police immediately after the first rape in December 2021. She had already called the police in the summer of 2021 when her husband was hit and they ordered protective measures against violence. “One call and the man would have been arrested immediately,” said the judge. The man moved to Switzerland in June 2021, where he married a compatriot who has lived here since childhood and has two daughters from his first marriage.
