DNIT has already received more than 1,000 million electronic tax documents

Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Tax Revenue Directorate (DNIT) reached more than 1,000 million Electronic Tax Documents (DTEs) issued, optimizing tax processes and promoting digitalization.

As of October 15 of this year, a total of 1,007,137,589 electronic documents have already been received and approved by the 5,664 taxpayers who use the Ekuatia and Ekuatia’i System.

This achievement generates considerable savings in paper and improves efficiency in the storage of electronic documents, reported by the DNIT through its Integrated National Electronic Billing System (Sifen).

This global volume includes electronic invoices, electronic self-invoices, credit notes, debit notes and electronic delivery notes. Electronic invoicing is consolidated as a key tool in the digital transformation of the tax system.

Likewise, the DNIT recently enabled, through General Resolution No. 19/24, voluntary access to the Free Electronic Billing System. This applies to small taxpayers who have a single issuing and establishment point.

For those taxpayers interested in adopting electronic invoicing, the DNIT offers more information through the number (021) 729 7000, option 2, or on its website www.dnit.gov.py in the “Electronic Billing” section. You can also contact by email at [email protected].
