Al-Marsad newspaper: joking Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov asked his Chinese counterpart to remove the mask and not be afraid.

And a video clip showed Lavrov receiving the Chinese Foreign Minister, telling him: “Do not worry and there is no need to wear a mask, you are safe.”

The Chinese minister responded by saying, “We trust each other.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met Thursday with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
