Minutes before Saturday’s game, the Dodgers announced they have placed Mexican Julio Cesar Urías on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring, retroactive to Friday.
The lefty allowed six runs, including four home runs, in just three innings of his start Thursday against the Cardinals.
Urías was scheduled to start Tuesday against the Braves. However, this injury raises a couple of questions for the Dodgers’ rotation, considering the club has yet to announce a starter for Monday after Dustin May (left forearm) was disabled on Friday.
Right-hander Wander Suero, who was promoted from Triple-A Oklahoma City, has made three appearances this year with the Dodgers, allowing three earned runs in 4.2 innings.
