Meghan’s sister Samantha Markle, 55, sued Harry’s wife for defamation last year. Worse still, this lawsuit is now taking it a step further.
Samantha’s accusation? Meghan Markle has spread lies about her and her family. Samantha’s life was destroyed as a result. claim for damages? Almost 70,000 francs.
And the questions to the no longer active royals are likely to be tricky. Among other things, Samantha Markle wants to know whether the late Queen Elizabeth († 96) was a racist.
Another demand from the Markle half-sister: Meghan and Harry should testify separately. Accordingly, Prince Harry would actually testify against his own wife – and vice versa!
Thomas Markle (78), Samantha’s daughter Ashleigh Hale (38) and online security expert Christopher Bouzy (46) are also to be invited. Both Meghan’s niece and Bouzy made appearances in the Netflix documentary.
However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not have to give up hope completely. An agreement and thus a settlement of the process is still possible until May.
