Faye Montana is currently processing her last relationship with her new single “Girlfriend” and shows herself in the video clip in a padded cell. A toxic relationship and a boyfriend with strong commitment fears gave the YouTube star a lot to deal with. However, she reveals to “Bild” that the song is actually about her last relationship and not about Lukas Rieger, with whom she was together until 2020. Her last ex-boyfriend was not known to the public.
“He said to me, ‘We can say I love you and hold hands, but I don’t want a girlfriend.’ He suddenly said that to me after a relationship of several months!” Faye said in the “Bild” interview. He even dumped her on her 18th birthday: “It was a long-distance relationship. I always went to his house, I was even in his town on my 18th birthday – and he just didn’t come.”
