"Don Alejandro: The Visionary Banker and Committed Citizen - A Documentary Tribute"

23 friends, relatives, collaborators and relatives describe the different aspects of the banker and committed citizen

The Popular Group presented the projection of the documentary “Don Alejandro”, an audiovisual tribute in homage to the contributions that Alejandro E. Grullón E. made in favor of the modernization of Dominican society, among them, the foundation of the Dominican Popular Bank and its parent company, the Popular Group.

Through testimonials from relatives, friends and collaborators of Don Alejandro, the audiovisual piece presents the life, achievements and visionary legacy of the bank executive, founder of the first Dominican private capital bank and first president of Grupo Popular, whose work extended towards the creation of different initiatives and institutions in favor of the development of the country and its fellow citizens.

In “Don Alejandro”, from the perspective of 23 friends, relatives, collaborators and relatives, the different aspects of the banker and committed citizen are described, as well as his religious devotion.

The documentary was presented in a private screening at the Caribbean Cinemas in Downtown Mall and will be broadcast for the general public to enjoy on Sunday, April 23, at 6:00 pm on Color Visión, and at 8:00 pm on CDN, channel 37.
