Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan people received comforting news from China. China has announced that it will make creative interventions to solve Sri Lanka’s economic crisis.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that they will work together to repay the international debt. China has also announced that it will secure loans and assistance from Chinese financial institutions. This was announced by Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mo Ning.
