After releasing the package March security in the international marketa Samsung has now started distribution for the Galaxy A54 in Brazil.
The news was confirmed by several users, and the update weighs around 232 MB and brings firmware version A546EXXS6BXC6.
According to information contained in the changelog, the update corrects around 44 security flaws found in Android 14 and also in the Korean manufacturer’s proprietary interface.
If you have a Galaxy A54 and want to check the availability of the update, the path is simple.
Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
It is worth remembering that Samsung must update this smartphone to One UI 6.1 in a second batch of the update, since only flagships will be equipped with the software this March.

The update available in Europe for the Galaxy A54 has a firmware version A546BXXS6BXC1. It includes the March 2024 security patch and there are no new features or performance improvements, just security fixes and improvements to overall system stability.
According to Samsung’s security blog, the March 2024 security package fixes 44 vulnerabilities affecting South Korean Galaxy cell phones and tablets. The update is extremely important, as there are flaws considered critical and high risk.

In an update released this weekend, Samsung started distribution of the January security package for the Galaxy A54 in Brazil.
The new feature is now widely available, and the package weighs around 233 MB and contains corrections for around 75 security flaws found in Android.
In addition, there are also adjustments for the Korean brand’s proprietary software. In Brazil, the firmware versions released are A546EXXS6BXA3, A546EOWO6BWL4 and A546EXXS6BWL4.
As usual, the update is being distributed slowly and gradually through batches. Therefore, it may take a little longer for the package to be available on your smartphone.
Still, if you want to check availability, the path is simple:
Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
It is worth remembering that the Galaxy A54 has already received One UI 6.0 and the device is also compatible with One UI 6.1.

Samsung Galaxy A54 receives update with One UI 6.0 and Android 14 in Brazil
Samsung has finally started distribution of One UI 6.0 with Android 14 for the Galaxy A54 here in Brazil. The news was confirmed by several users on the Korean brand’s official forums.
According to information in the changelog, the update carries firmware version A546EXXU5BWK8 and weighs approximately 2.4 GB.
However, despite the update to new software, the Galaxy A54 does not receive a more current version of the Android security package, maintaining the already outdated November 2023 patch.

As expected, the update is being distributed in batches and may take a while to reach all eligible smartphones here in Brazil.
