Now that Dragonflight was announced, we can take a look at the leaks and see who was right. At this little game, Ian Bates noticed that a 4chan user had published on April 16 a devilishly precise list of features with the name of the extension, the dracthyrs, the summoner, the number of new zones or the rework of the talents.
However, the author also announced three other elements concerning the release date of Dragonflight, the big bad of the extension and finally the pre-order bonuses.
This information is obviously to be taken with a grain of salt, but here it is:
- Dragonflight would be released in the 1st quarter of 2023: It is quite plausible because even if the players hope to see it land in 2022, we do not know the state of development of the extension. Blizzard’s announcement was much lighter than what you’re used to seeing at BlizzCon, where the devs showcase abilities, dungeons, zones, the first raid, and even get your hands on it. on a playable version.
- Murozond would be the big villain of the expansion: The leader of the Infinite dragonflight would be the boss of Dragonflight. It’s a dragon that we already had the opportunity to fight in The End Times in Cataclysm, and it would be making a comeback. Murozond is another future version of Nozdormu, the Aspect of Time.
- Dragonflight Pre-Orders : Blizzard would hold back on pre-orders because they would come with a new allied race. It wouldn’t be the drachtyrs, but something else.
So much for the rumours. What do you think ?
