Two days after the feminicide of Lucia V. in Jumet, the emergency services and the Trieux police were called rue Albert Ier, in Trazegnies. A woman born in 1999 was shot and killed, apparently in the head.
The suspect, a man born in 1988, already known to justice but not for a history of violence against women, was deprived of liberty, specifies the Charleroi prosecutor’s office. “He took refuge with a neighbor and explained what he had just done. The police intervened and deprived him of his liberty.”
It is still too early to know the exact circumstances of the feminicide. The prosecution was on its way to the scene of the murder.
