The technology has already been tested at Roland Garros but also at Eurovision and the industry is counting on the Olympic Games taking place in Paris to develop it.

At TowerCast, we plan to deploy the technology in about 5 years, but that’s not really a concern. “The challenge is to install DTT in consumption patterns after 2030”says its leader. At a time when the number of households using this reception mode is falling, this technological leap could prove to be a life-saver for DTT, the broadcast of which began in 2005. Other experiments have been carried out, such as that of the use of HbbTV for the Arte and Salto platform Last year.
