ASUS has released an external SSD case ‘TUF Gamning A1 NVMe SSD Enclosure’ in response to the rapidly spreading NVMe SSD.
TUF Gamning A1 NVMe SSD Enclosure features dual M.2 interfaces that support both NVMe and SATA3 transport interfaces, unlike typical external SSD cases. The NVMe interface has a maximum transfer speed of 10Gbps, and when the SATA3 interface type M.2 is installed, it has a maximum speed of 6Gbps.
The applied USB interface is USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gbps) and supports Type-C connection. In addition to MIL-STD-810H drop resistance, it corresponds to IP68, a waterproof and dustproof function class. As a supported console device, ASUS announced that it will officially support PS5 and PC platforms along with the Xbox family.
