Dubai port management handed over to Neom Company | The management of Dubai Port was handed over to Neom Company

Jubail: The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has announced that the management of Duba port on the northern Red Sea coast has been handed over to Neom Company. Duba is a small city on the northern Red Sea coast, located in Tabuk province. Duba Port, which started operations in 1994, is located closest to the Suez Canal.

It will become the most useful port for emerging markets and ports in the Mediterranean region in the near future. Called the ‘Pearl of the Red Sea’, this port connects the northern and western regions of the country. All operational and administrative work of the port will be under Neom Company.

The rules and regulations for the operation of Dubai will be implemented in harmony with other ports in Saudi Arabia. According to this, Mavani will be in charge of supervising all ships arriving at the port.

Port services and wages will also be charged. Hurghada and Safaga ports in Egypt can be reached by ferry from Dubai in about three hours.
