Due to salary demands, teachers from the Union of Educators of the Province of Córdoba (UEPC) marched this Monday through the streets of the Capital, during the day of national strike.

There was criticism of Javier Milei for the removal of the teaching incentive and of Governor Martín Llaryora for the salary offer to teachers and professors.

For him strike determined at the national level by the Confederation of Education Workers (Ctera)the start of classes in schools in the province of Córdoba was not normal this Monday.

The UEPC adhered to the measure that was specifically decided against the Government of Javier Milei for the withdrawal of the Teacher Incentive Fund (Fonid).

Everything revolves around the level of compliance, but the question will not have an answer until this Monday, since the antecedents of the other previous conflicts are not at all transferable to the current scenario.

Objectively, the Ctera strikes tend to have lower support among Córdoban teachers than those that specifically concern the provincial joint union, but the Fonid strike is very serious for teachers’ pockets, since it represents a loss of approximately 8%. of the total salary.
