Following its announcement at Gamescom 2022, the title Dune: Awakening has the right to a trailer. Funcom reveals the first sequences of the pre-alpha version.
This title is an open-world survival MMO. As its name suggests, it is inspired by the science fiction work DUNE written by Frank Herbert. Funcom is not unknown since the studio was noticed with the title Conan Exiles. It is explained
Dune: Awakening builds on this solid foundation, weaving Open World Survival and MMO aspects together into a Dune tapestry that brings Frank Herbert’s epic universe to life in a very unique way.
Players must survive countless dangers on Arrakis alongside thousands of other players. It will be necessary to explore his identity while living an epic personal journey from finding water to building shelters against storms while trying to control the flow of spices in the upper echelons of the planet. Combat can range from quick skirmishes to full-scale battles with infantry, ground vehicles, and ornithopters, each playing a vital role.

Deserts hold a multitude of choices to make and paths to discover. Jump into an ornithopter to explore the deep deserts; equip advanced armor and weapons to become a deadly mercenary; run an efficient spice harvesting operation; gain influence among the Great Houses, do all of these things and more.
