Game News Dune Spice Wars: A lot of free content is about to land!

Released in April, Dune Spice Wars, the strategy game inspired by Frank Herbert’s universe, is a real success. This good news inspires developers who have just unveiled the next content to come in the game’s Early Access.

And Dune Spice Wars has already charmed everyone by offering an unforgettable trip to the planet Arrakis, the title still plans to drink new content. To prove it to us, Funcom and Shiro Games, the game’s publisher and developer, are today unveiling the Early Access Road Map. The latter already promises to add several major contents, starting with the establishment of a multiplayer mode. Expected for this summer, this game mode will allow fans of Frank Herbert’s universe or Denis Villeneuve’s film to face up to three other players in Online games. That’s not all, also note that a Co-op mode will be there.
As experienced Early Access developers, Funcom and Shiro Games know the value of community feedback and adapt accordingly, so the features shown in the Road Map are subject to change. (However) multiplayer is the current priority. Shiro Games
As you can see by looking at the Road Map available above, this summer will also mark the arrival of a whole new faction. The latter, still unknown, will be added to those already present, namely the Atreides, the Harkonnens, the Smugglers and the Fremen.
Later, Dune Spice Wars will also offer the Air & Sand update which comes to deepen the rules of the game by introducing, for example, new units as well as new tactical elements. Later still, a major novelty will make its entry: it is the establishment of Heroes, iconic characters who transform into controllable units on the map. The latter have unique abilities which, we imagine, will be able to upset the course of a game on their own.
As a reminder, Dune Spice Wars is currently an early access. Version 1.0 is expected in late 2022, early 2023.
