The purpose of the program is to promote the integration into the labor market of young 18 to 29-year-old graduates as well as graduates of compulsory education, with an open application date until the number of positions is exhausted.

The remuneration and insurance of the unemployed during the period of their employment is fully covered by the scheme. The unemployed beneficiaries are paid by DYPA, a monthly compensation equal to the legal minimum wage and a proportion of holiday gifts and leave allowance and for the time of their participation in the program they are subject to the mixed insurance of the EFKA.

The companies that will hire the unemployed for internships will not be compensated, as they will be able to increase their workforce at zero cost. However, it is a condition that the positions they will fill with the unemployed they will hire “for free” are not in replacement of layoffs or resignations, but in addition to the existing jobs.

The start date for the submission of applications by businesses will be announced by DYPA. The program will be open until all 25,000 unemployed are hired for the 7 month internship. The 200 million euros of the program will be available until 31/12/2029.
