COMPANY REFORESTS AREA IN RIO BONITO IN COMMITMENT TO SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY WITH THE Bosque E-XYON PROJECT
Part of a holistic approach towards sustainability, E-XYON, a legal management solutions company, reaffirms its commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices by officially launching the “E-XYON Forest” project. The objective is to protect the environment and advance socio-environmental causes. It is a comprehensive reforestation project that aims at ecological restoration and preservation of natural resources through the planting of native Atlantic Forest tree seedlings in a rural area of 10,000 m2 in the municipality of Rio Bonito, in the State of Rio de Janeiro.

The strategic choice of the location, located in a microbasin that houses the source of the Bacaxá River, not only directly contributes to the water supply in eight municipalities in the Lakes Region of Rio de Janeiro, but also highlights E-XYON’s commitment to the responsible management of water resources and climate change mitigation. In addition to the environmental benefits, the “Bosque E-XYON” project seeks to actively involve the local community, establishing partnerships with various entities and interested parties.

Carbon offsetting with the planting of native trees;
Recovery of water sources and preservation and restoration of local ecosystems, directly contributing to water security in the region;
Protection of biodiversity through reforestation with native species of the Atlantic Forest, promoting the conservation and preservation of local habitats;
