The construction of the acoustic barricade, planned for the two years of construction, has just begun with the treatment of the vegetation in the area. These operations are currently causing occasional and short-term disruptions on the E411 hard shoulder at Warisoulx towards Namur.
In order to limit the impact on traffic, the installation of the signs will take place over several nights from March 15.
From March 20 until before winter 2023, on the E411 between Daussoulx and Aische-en-Refail, traffic will be on two lanes in both directions of traffic. The maximum speed will be limited to 70 km/h. Interchange 20 “Eghezée” will remain open to traffic. Only occasional and short-term closures will be carried out in order to rehabilitate the entrance and exit ramps towards Brussels. Ostin’s area will be inaccessible during the entire work. Access to service stations located near Aische-en-Refail will be accessible throughout the work.
It should be noted that a second phase concerning the rehabilitation between Thorembais-Saint-Trond and Dhuy towards Luxembourg will begin in the spring of 2024. The end of the site as a whole is scheduled for the end of 2024.
