entrance song
To you the glory, O Risen One!
To you the victory For eternity.

Shining with light, The angel descended;
He rolls away the stone From the vanquished tomb.
To you the glory, O Risen One!
To you the victory For eternity.

Rejoice, People of the Lord,
And keep repeating that Christ is victorious.
To you the glory, O Risen One!
To you the victory For eternity.

He is my victory, my strong support,
My life and my glory: no, I fear nothing!

To you the glory, O Risen One!
To you the victory For eternity.

Alleluia, alleluia!

I saw the Temple
now open to all, Hallelujah!

Alleluia!

Christ returns victorious,
showing the wound on his side, Hallelujah!

First reading (Ac 10, 34-43)

Reading from the Acts of the Apostles

In those days,
when Peter arrived in Caesarea
in a centurion of the Roman army,
he spoke up and said:
“You know what happened throughout the land of the Jews,
from the beginnings in Galilee,
after the baptism proclaimed by John:
Jesus of Nazareth,
God gave him the anointing of the Holy Spirit and power.
Where he went, he did good
and healed all who were under the power of the devil,
for God was with him.
And we are witnesses
of all that he did in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem.
The one they suppressed by hanging it on the wood of torture,
God raised him up on the third day.
He gave him to manifest himself,
not to all the people,
but to witnesses whom God had chosen beforehand,
to us who ate and drank with him
after his resurrection from the dead.
God has commissioned us to announce to the people and to bear witness
that he himself has made him Judge of the living and the dead.
It is to Jesus that all the prophets bear this witness:
Anyone who believes in him
receives through his name the forgiveness of his sins.

Word of the Lord.

We give thanks to God

Psalm 117

This is the day the Lord made,
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

This is the day the Lord made,
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

Give thanks to the Lord: He is good!
Eternel is her love !
Yes, let Israel say:
Eternel is her love !

This is the day the Lord made,
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

The arm of the Lord rises,
the arm of the Lord is strong!
No, I will not die, I will live,
to announce the actions of the Lord.

This is the day the Lord made,
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone:
this is the work of the Lord,
the wonder before our eyes.

This is the day the Lord made,
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

Second reading (Phil 3, 1-4)

Reading of the Letter of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Colossians

Brothers,
if you are resurrected with Christ,
seek the realities from above:
there is Christ, seated at the right hand of God.
Think of the realities from above,
not to those of the earth.

Indeed, you have passed through death,
and your life remains hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ appears, your life,
then you too will appear with him in glory.

Word of the Lord.

We give thanks to God

Gospel Acclamation

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!

Let’s celebrate the Feast in the Lord!

Gospel (Jn 20, 1-9)

The Lord be with you.
And with your mind.

Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John

Glory to you Lord.

The first day of the week,
Marie Madeleine goes to the tomb early in the morning;
it was still darkness.
She notices that the stone has been removed from the tomb.
So she runs to find Simon Peter and the other disciple,
whom Jesus loved,
and she said to them:
“The Lord was taken from his tomb,
and we don’t know where it was dropped off. »
So Peter went with the other disciple
to get to the tomb.
They were both running together,
but the other disciple ran faster than Peter
and arrived first at the tomb.
Leaning over, he notices that the linens are lying flat;
however he does not enter.
Simon-Pierre, who was following him, arrives in his turn.
He enters the tomb;
he sees the clothes, laid flat,
as well as the shroud which had surrounded the head of Jesus,
not posed with linens,
but rolled apart in its place.
Then the other disciple entered,
he who had arrived first at the tomb.
He saw, and he believed.
Until then, in fact, the disciples had not understood
that, according to Scripture,
Jesus had to rise from the dead.

Let’s acclaim the Word of God.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus.

universal prayer

On this most holy day, let us beseech the Almighty Father that the Easter of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, bring grace and joy to the whole world.

So that those baptized this night and those who will receive the sacraments of the Church this year may live this new life to the full.

O risen Christ, hear us!

So that the Church can live in unity and peace and serve the gospel.
O risen Christ, hear us!

So that the sick, the prisoners, the hungry, the unemployed, the people in the street and precarious can be cared for, visited, fed, helped and consoled.

O risen Christ, hear us!

For families and especially for those who know the drama of separation, exile, mourning and discord

O risen Christ, hear us!

For peace and an end to all wars, for heads of state and government around the world

O risen Christ, hear us!

So that all nations, peoples, communities, families live in harmony and love

O risen Christ, hear us!

God who saves all men and does not want to lose any, hear the prayer of your people and give them the joy of being answered by Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Holy
Holy, holy, holy Lord
Holy, holy God of hosts.
Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna in the highest!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of
Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna in the highest!
