Edge will star in a Disney+ series scheduled to air in 2024.
Adam Copeland of his real name is announced in the role of Ares, the god of war. Ares is described as being “handsome in a mean and arrogant way, though he’s not always the shrewdest of tools. He loves conflict and acts as an agent of chaos wherever he goes.
Also announced for the cast of the series Walker Scobell in the main role, Aryan Simhadri, Leah Sava Jeffries, Suzanne Cryer and Jessica Parker Kennedy.
Here is the synopsis of the series:
‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson (Scobell), who is just beginning to come to terms with his new godlike powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his lightning bolt. With the help of his friends Grover (Simhadri) and Annabeth (Jeffries), Percy must embark on the adventure of a lifetime to find him and restore order to Olympus.
