edition Video games, mini-conferences, discussions, and online games!

Debian, the coolest GNU/Linux operating system in the world, is hosting an online event with discussions and presentations on the topic of free play!

This MiniDebConf will take place from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November, the highlight being the weekend which concentrates the conferences.

You’ll find 0.AD, ./play.it!, Godot Engine, GemRB, Nethack, sound creation software, and more! See the schedule on the site.

But what happens on Thursday and Friday? In part, this slot is reserved for collective work sessions. But also, and this is where I’m coming from, along these 4 days slots will be scattered to play online games, free games but also less free games that work under Debian. We could do without them, so we will see that they are not supernumerary.

Minetest, Xonotic, Teeworlds, SuperTux, or the great classics Unreal Tournament and Age of Empires 2 are among the good candidates! (we still wonder a little how they run AoE 2 the tricksters).

Whether it’s to put your nose back in the free games, or to taste it, we hope to see you there!
